William Kirkman

October 14, 1974 — April 15, 2023

Mass of the Resurrection will be held for William “Bill” Robert Kirkman, 48, who passed away early morning on April 15, 2023, after an auto accident.


Bill was a loving son, brother, father, and grandfather. He was kindhearted and a good friend. Many would say that he was the type of person to give you the shirt off his own back. He was always the center of attention and could make a silent room burst into laughter.


Bill is survived by: his children Caleb Boyd, Caitlin Peterson, Owen and Savanna Kirkman, his granddaughters: Remington (5) and Aurora (1), His mother, Christine Kirkman, his siblings Tim Haemmerle, Ed (Elizabeth) Kirkman, Jim (Kelli) Kirkman, Sandy Emberlin and Jackie (Nate) Sanger as well as multiple nieces and nephews.


He is preceded in death by his grandson Ruger, his nephew, Michael Emberlin, his father, Deacon Pat Kirkman, grandparents Ed and Jackie Jacobson and George and Vera Kirkman.


Services will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church on Saturday, April 22, 2023. Visitation starting at 9 am followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am. Burial will be at Laurel Hill Cemetery following a luncheon in the parish hall.


Monetary gifts would be most appreciated in lieu of flowers to help the family with funeral expenses.
