Wayne Anthony Trupiano

Wayne Trupiano, 74, of Des Moines passed away September 5, 2022. A private service will be held at a later date.

Wayne was born on September 27, 1947 in St. Louis Missouri to the parents of Frances and Martha (Brown) Trupiano. Wayne was a proud Vietnam veteran for serving his country and proud of his Sicilian heritage. He spent his working career as a commercial truck driver of everyday products. Wayne enjoyed reading Sci-Fi and comic books, Corvettes, watching John Wayne and listening to Johnny Cash. He loved to watch football and cheer on his favorite team, the Denver Broncos. He was an avid traveler around the United States and Canada and collected keychains from every city. While he loved to travel, he loved being at his home even more. He admired his collections and was thrilled to eat and enjoy the produce provided by his garden.

He is survived by his wife, Marina Trupiano; daughter Toni Trupiano; step-son Dima (Maria) Stankevich; grandchildren, Bobby (Courtney) Willey, Dillon Willey, Katia Stankevich and great grand-children, Avvy Willey and Oaks Willey; sister Terry Lumma; brother Frank Trupiano; sister-in-law Natalia Seleznjova and father-in-law Aleksej Dmitriev.

He is preceded in death by his parents.
