Wanda Schafer

Wanda Margaret Schafer, 65, of Waukee, passed away at her home on April 13, 2026.

Wanda was born on December 30, 1960, in Dexter, Iowa, to Vernon and Margaret (Bauld) Spillers. She graduated from Adel High School.

She had a deep love for her dogs, who brought her comfort and companionship throughout her life.

Wanda is survived by her father, Vernon Spillers of Adel; and her brother, Scott Spillers of Adel.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Spillers; and her infant son, Cody David Crabbs.
