Virginia Leigh 'Ginger' Gard

Virginia “Ginger” Gard, 47 of Adel, passed way unexpectedly Thursday, February 1, 2018. A private family memorial service is being held. Ginger was born February 12, 1970 in Des Moines to Joseph and Judy Brittain. She graduated from Adel-De Soto High School and received a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Phoenix. She worked in the Insurance industry. Ginger did scrapbooking, loved to take pictures of her children, was a Girl Scout Leader and a Confirmation guide. She loved spending time with her children and her husband, Steve. Ginger is survived by her husband, Steve; daughters, Jessica and Emily; son, Ben; parents, Clark and Judy; sisters, Jodi (John) Harada and Tami (Cy) Gushiken and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family. Online condolences may be left on this site.
