Violet Margaret Anderson, daughter of Eli Coil and Margaret Mae Stiner Coil, was born April 25, 1908 in Luther, Iowa and died February 14, 2005 at Perry Lutheran Home in Perry, Iowa at the age of 96 years and 9 months, 19 days. Violet was raised and attended school in Perry. Violet was united in marriage to Dee Irving Anderson on June 17, 1934 at the Open Bible Church in Des Moines, Iowa with the Rev. John Ritchey presiding. The couple made their home in Perry. Violet worked for Priebes as well as a doctor's office in Perry. She belonged to the Three Quarter Century Club in Perry. Violet attended the First Baptist Church and the First Assembly of God in Perry. In her spare time, Violet was especially fond of cooking and baking. She also had a love for flowers. Violet was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Dee in 1991, and her brother Lemuel. She is survived by her nieces: Margret Smothers of Perry, Elva Olson of Polk City, Dorothy Jones of Altoona and Floris Anderson of Michigan; nephews: Milo Anderson and Ronald Anderson both of California; other relatives and friends.
