Tami Little

Tami Rainelle (Lehman) Little of Winterset, Iowa passed away peacefully on Friday, February 20, 2026, at UnityPoint Hospital in Des Moines surrounded by her loved ones.

Born on May 10, 1953, in Winterset, Iowa, to Albert Charles Lehman and Emogene "Jean" Rose (Allen) Lehman, Tami attended Winterset Community School and graduated in 1971. She lived out her life there in the community she loved so dearly.

In 1976, Tami was blessed to mother twin daughters, Tiffany Nichole and Fidelity "Dee Dee" Nolana, both of whom graduated from Winterset.

Tami devoted her life to helping others throughout an impressive tenure in healthcare, finally (and reluctantly!) retiring in 2023. Because of her love for the industry, Tami was a positive force for anyone she met during her time in healthcare ... both when she was giving care, as well as when she was receiving it. Tami loved her fellow healthcare workers ... and they loved her.

She enjoyed traveling to Colorado, masterminding puzzles, gardening, attending Cher and Fleetwood Mac concerts, people watching at the Iowa State Fair, driving fast, chasing around her dogs, storm-watching, deer hunting, and fishing. But most of all, Tami delighted in spending precious time with her family doing any of those activities ... or just sharing a laugh on a quiet evening by the fire.

Tami is survived by her brother, Cory Lehman of Stuart; daughters, Tiffany Roberts (Brian Gray) of Winterset and Fidelity Holder (Scott) of Greenfield; grandchildren, Zachary and Emma Jean Holder of Greenfield and Sidney and Wyatt Roberts of Winterset; nephews, Kyle (Olivia) and Trevor (Candi) Lehman of Des Moines; as well as great grandchild Lola. She is preceded in death by her parents.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., Saturday, March 7, 2026 at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home, Winterset Chapel, where family will be present to receive friends during that time. Burial will be in the Winterset Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family for a future designation.
