Tami Blackwell, 58 of Urbandale passed away on November 5, 2015. A gathering for friends and family will be held from 1:00 3:00 PM on Sunday, November 8, 2015 at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home in Urbandale. Tami was born October 4, 1957 in Sioux City, Iowa to Glen (Geno) and Lena Benson. Tami married Dennis Blackwell on June 6, 1975. She is survived by her mother, husband Dennis, 3 children; Talicia (Jerry) Anderson, Dennis Blackwell, Tiffany Blackwell (Pablo Perez), 7 grandchildren; Tayilon, Jaydon, Brylie, Nikolas, Kyra, Araya, and Bryson, 7 siblings; Mike Benson, Jeannie Eck, Vicki Warner, Todd Benson, Teri Thomas, Penny Garcia, and Geno Benson. She was preceded in death by her father, grandparents; Glenn and Garnet Benson, and Pete and Mary DeFazio.
