Tam V Le (67) passed away on May 22, 2025. on Sunday, June 1, 2025, at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home & Crematory (8201 Hickman Road, Urbandale, Iowa 50322) A funeral service will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. with a visitation break from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. The family requests that monetary donations be directed to the Mission Cancer Foundation (https://www.missioncancer.com/our-foundation/). Anh Tâm sinh năm 1957 tại thành phố Huế cổ kính thuộc miền Trung Việt Nam. Năm 1959 anh theo gia đình di cư vào Thành phố Đà Nẵng và sống trọn vẹn thời niên thiếu an bình êm ả. Rồi chiến tranh xảy ra, năm 1975 anh cùng gia đình di tản vào Sài Gòn Miền Nam Việt Nam. Tại đây anh kết hôn với Trân, cô giáo Tiền Giang miền tây sông nước ngọt ngào vào năm 1990. Năm 1992 họ chào đón đứa con gái duy nhất chào đời. Đến năm 2000 Anh cùng vợ con tạm biệt Sài Gòn đến Hoa Kỳ đoàn tụ với Anh em sau bao nhiêu năm xa cách. Năm 2001 Anh làm việc chăm chỉ tại bệnh viện MercyOne cố gắng hòa nhập vào cuộc sống mới. Thật không may, anh đã không vượt qua khỏi căn bệnh ung thư phổi quái ác và đã từ trần lúc 05:03 chiều ngày 22/05/2025 tại bệnh viện nơi Anh đã gắn bó làm việc 24 năm dài. Xin cầu nguyện cho linh hồn Anh được siêu thoát lên cõi Vĩnh Hằng.

Tam was born in 1957 in the city of Hue in the central region of Vietnam. In 1959 he and his family moved to the city of Da Nang where he spent his adolescence peacefully. By 1975, when the Vietnam War intensified and reached the turning point, he and his family evacuated to Ho Chi Minh city in the Southern region of Vietnam. It was there in 1990 that he married Tran, who was a teacher in the Tiền Giang province. In 1992, he and his wife welcomed the birth of their daughter Minh-Tâm. In 2000, he and his wife and child bid goodbye to Ho Chi Minh city and came to the United States where he reunited with his younger sister Anh after being apart for many years. In 2001, he worked diligently at MercyOne hospital and tried to adjust to his new life. Unfortunately, he was unable to overcome his lung cancer and passed away at 5:03 pm on 5/22/2025 at the hospital where he worked for 24 years. Please pray for his soul to leave the cycle of Samsara and enter Nirvana.
