Steven Parker

Steven Parker, 59 of West Des Moines passed away on January 6, 2019. A funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, January 11, 2019 at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home & Crematory in Urbandale with a visitation starting at 1:00 PM. Steven was born on December 1, 1959 in Des Moines to Dean & Carole Parker. He married his childhood sweetheart from junior high, Teresa, on August 29, 1987 in Des Moines. They had 2 children together. He worked at American TV and Appliance and Homemakers for many years. In his free time he enjoyed working on cars and home improvements. Steven was very proud of his children and granddaughter. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He was good listener and a strong man. He was very helpful to many people. He is survived by his parents, Dean & Carole Parker; wife, Teresa Parker; children, Lindsey (Matt) Donahue and Mitchell Parker; siblings Stan (Tami) Parker and Debbie Parker; granddaughter, Callie Donahue. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the family.
