Scott Thomas Kelley, 73, of Des Moines, IA, passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at his residence. The family has chosen to honor their loved one's memory privately, in accordance with their wishes, and no formal services will be held. Scott was born on October 27, 1952, to Thomas and Eileen (Daily) Kelley in Toledo, Ohio. He earned his bachelor's degree and later moved to Des Moines, where he worked as a medical instrument technician at the VA Hospital.
Scott will truly be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his brother, Dan (Carla) Kelley from Cedar Rapids, IA.
