Sally Morton passed away Friday, March 1, 2019 at the Perry Lutheran Home at the age of 72 years. Sally’s wishes were to be cremated and no services are planned at this time. She will be buried in Violet Hill Cemetery at a later date.

Sally Jo Heenan was born October 5, 1946 the daughter of Leo Francis and Harriett (Lester) Heenan at Kings Daughter’s Hospital in Perry, Iowa. A life long resident of Perry, she attended Perry Community Schools and graduated with the class of 1964 from Perry High School. She was a member of First Christian Church. Sally married Richard Morton, April 27, 1971 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She worked for Dallas County as an Office Clerk, before her retirement.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband Richard Morton of Perry; one brother Keith (Peg) Heenan of Adel, IA; niece Amanda Heil and her children Amethyst and Moraea and niece Angela (Josh) Nelson and their children Gwendolyn, Charlotte and Bane. Preceding Sally in death were her parents.
