Russell Glen Wright

Russell Wright, 90, passed away November 11, 2017 at Iowa Methodist Hospital. A Celebration of Life will be held at McCalley Funeral Home in Adel on Wednesday, November 15, 2017. The family will greet visitors from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. followed by a time to share memories of Russell. Russell was born November 14, 1926, the only son of Clarence and Hazel Wright. He graduated from De Soto High School and spent his life farming until moving to Adel Acres Care Center. He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Wilma Wright. Russell is survived by his son, David (Nancy) Wright of Perry; his daughter, Mary (Rick) Harper of Des Moines; and his six grandchildren, Kyle, Brandon, Alex and Lauryn Wright , Michael Harper and Staci Bennett.
