Roberta Corlis

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Roberta Frances Corlis, who departed this life peacefully on the morning of September 3, 2026, surrounded by her family and friends.

Roberta loved crocheting and found great joy in every stitch, afghan, and pattern she created, often sharing her handmade pieces with neighbors and friends. She volunteered extensively through her local Kiwanis chapter and was always ready to lend a helping hand, offer a warm smile, or share her baked goods. Above all, her greatest pride and joy was her family. She especially cherished being a grandmother and treasured the close bonds and countless special moments she shared with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Roberta is survived by her children, Jack L. Corlis Jr. (Debra), Julia Castillo, and Jace Corlis (Janet); brother, Ronald Moore (Anet); grandchildren, Jack L. Corlis III (Meghan), Jeremy Corlis (Amber), Andrew Corlis (Kylie), Kregen Webb (Logan), Kelli Corlis, Julian Castillo (Ethan), Alicea Beltran (Daniel), and Fabian Castillo (Hayley); and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack L. Corlis; parents, John and Frances Moore; brother, Robert Moore; son-in-law, Larry Castillo; and grandson, Travis Corlis.

The many lives Roberta touched will carry forward the legacy of her selfless spirit, kindness, and compassion.
