Rickie Dee Romero, age 57, of the Des Moines area, passed away on January 20, 2025.
Rickie was born in Clovis, New Mexico to Eloy and Dolores Romero.
Rickie is survived by his wife, Lilia and 2 sons, Jesse and wife Jessica, Justin and his wife April. His father and mother, Eloy and Dolores Romero, brother, Larry Romero, brother, Ray Romero and wife Mabel, sister Lynn Hofen and husband Brian, and sister Rene' Schwalk and husband David. He also leaves behind 6 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Rickie is preceded in death by one brother, Ronny Romero.
A visitation for Rickie will be held on January 30, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home & Crematory (8201 Hickman Road, Urbandale, IA 50322). The family requests, in lieu of flowers, a donation to the Richard Deming Cancer Center in Des Moines, Iowa. https://giving.mercyone.org/desmoines/give
