Hastings in Perry is in charge of services for Mr. Buffington who died April 7th at the Dallas County Hospital. Memorial service and burial will be at the Veterans Cemetery in Van Meter, Iowa. He is survived by his son Richard Jr. of Atlanta, Georgia and daughter Sandra Buffington of Perry, Iowa.
