On Friday, October 21st, 2022 Reed Pate passed away at the age of 77. He was born on February 4th, 1945 to George and Mildred (Reed) Pate. Reed graduated from TRHS in 1963 and after attending one semester of college started working for Bodin Van Dorn selling clothes. His gym membership were valued by Reed where he worked out and met numerous people.
Reed lived his whole life in Des Moines and is survived by his sister Carole (Gerry) Burns, nephews Kerry and Reed (Yuka) Burns, great-niece Ami Burns and many friends.
Reed was sincerely loved and will be greatly missed. RIP
A memorial service to celebrate Reed’s life will be held at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home & Crematory 8201 Hickman Rd. Urbandale, IA beginning at 10:00A.M on Thursday Nov 3, 2022.
