Pearl Lavern Willis

Pearl LaVern Willis, 80 years old, passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2020. A visitation will be held from 5:00 – 6:00 pm, on Friday, February 7, 2020 at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home in Urbandale. A Funeral Service will directly follow the visitation at 6:00 pm. Memorial contributions can be directed to the Spina Bifida Association of Iowa. Pearl was born on July 30, 1939 to Lawrence and Victoria Baker in Leon, Iowa. She was married to her loving husband, Jackie Willis for 54 years and the couple thoroughly enjoyed their lives together. Pearl worked for Bankers Life from 1957-68 and ended up retiring from Sears. In her free time she loved getting her hair done weekly, going out to dinner with her husband, and snowmobiling. Pearl is survived by her husband, Jackie; her sister, Fern Salas; her half-brother, Raymond; her half-sisters, Rosemary and Ruthie May; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Victoria Baker; her brothers Earl and Vyrle Baker; and her sisters, Bernice and Pauline.
