The family will be present to greet friends at Hastings Funeral Home in Jefferson beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 10, 2010 until the time of a Celebration of Life Service to be held at 11:00 a.m. that day. Burial will take place at the Franklin Township Cemetery. He is survived by his mother Mary Stofer Hughes of Guthrie Center; Grothers: Craig Springer of Atlantic and Raymond Springer of Des Moines and Sisters: Donna Cyr of Bristol, Connecticut; Debra Jensen of Forest City and Julie Kipp of Yale, Iowa.
