Pamela Sue Hulbert, age 71, of Earlham, Iowa, passed away on April 29th, 2025 at the Kavanagh House-Everystep Hospice in Des Moines, Iowa.

Pam was born on October, 6th 1953 in Des Moines, Iowa, the daughter of Ronald Eugene and Beverly Jean (Kern) Bagley. She was raised in the Des Moines area and graduated from Saydel High School in 1971. She met and was married to Roger Hulbert Sr on November 25th, 1970 in Des Moines, Iowa. From this union Roger Jr and Valerie were born.

Pam was devoted to her family, friends, and her husband of 54 years. She was best known for her positive attitude and upstanding spirit through all of life's challenges. After the loss of her daughter, Valerie, she and Roger became foster parents to 4 children. Out of these 4 children, they adopted one daughter, Bonnie. Pamela loved creating crafts and art, to bring beauty and joy into the life of others. She owned a small business, where she made handcrafted gift items. Pamela loved giving gifts, whether it was handmade jewelry or her annual calendar.

Preceding her in death were her parents; daughter: Valerie Hulbert; brothers: Robert Bagley and Ronald Dean Bagley; brother-in-law: Lloyd Uitermarkt; grandparents: Charles and Martha Bagley and Earl and Ethel Kern; as well as her beloved pup: Sandy.

Survivors include her husband: Roger Hulbert Sr.; children: Roger Hulbert Jr, Bonnie Hulbert; foster children: Lynn, Kris, and Dwayne; grandchildren: Gavin, Aidan, Owen, Donnal, Brooklyn, Zachary, Dawson, Stella, Milo, Ariana, Joseph, Liam, and Greyson; sister: Rhonda Uitermarkt; stepmother Barb Bagley; beloved pup: Sasha; as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 3rd, 2025 at 10:00 am at the Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home-Adel Chapel, with the funeral to follow at 11:00 am. Burial will take place at Bear Creek Cemetery, Union Twp, Dallas County.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Earlham Fire and Rescue, Kavanagh House-Everystep Hospice, or to the family for designation at a later date.
