Pamela Jean Haakma, age 71, of Perry, passed away at her home in Perry on Saturday, May 30, 2026.
A celebration of life will be held at a later time, and she will be buried in Violet Hill Cemetery in Perry. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.caldwellparrish.com.
She was born on January 23, 1955, in Perry, Iowa, the daughter of Bernard and Beverly (Conklin) Williams. Pam was raised in Perry and spent her entire life in the community she proudly called home. She attended Perry school and graduated from Perry High School.
Pam was a member of First Baptist Church in Perry. She loved all things purple and enjoyed going on car rides, whether it was around town or out in the countryside. She never passed up an opportunity to do a little shopping and spending money and always looked forward to spending time with her friends and family.
Pam was especially fond of Lilo & Stitch and dolphins, which brought her a great deal of joy. She treasured the time she spent with those she loved and had a special place in her heart for her beloved dog, Oscar, and cat, Elvis, who were faithful companions throughout the years.
Left to cherish her memory, are her two sisters, Patricia Lile of Perry and Bernadette (Steven) Culp of Dayton; nieces and nephews: Peggy (David) Cannon of Perry, Paula Pena of Des Moines, Penny Lile of Denison, David (Reanna) Lile of Boone, Adam Sorenson of Dayton, Austin Sorenson of Dayton, Shelby Sorenson of Dayton, and Clayton Culp of Fort Dodge; many great-nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Beverly Williams, and her husband, Leonard Haakma.
