Verna Mae Clingan. Mrs. Clingan died Thursday at the Eastern Star Masonic Home in Boone. Services will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Hastings Funeral Home in Jefferson with burial in the Jefferson Cemetery. Visitation will be after 1:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with her family present 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association of Iowa. She is survived by her sons, Tony (Paula) of Jefferson and Mark (Kathryn) of Maple Grove, MN; 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; sisters: Wanda ( Larry) Anderson of Jefferson; Virginia (Martin) Patch of Chantilly, VA; and Jolene (Neil) Wright of Panora.
