Morris Fry

Morris Lee Fry was born April 8, 1959 and passed away on December 26, 2018. He spent his childhood in Dallas Center, IA and after high school obtained certification from DMACC in electronics. We appreciated his good nature, snickering laugh and easy going personality. Morris lived a solitary life, enjoying reading, electronics, the internet and eating McDonald’s hamburgers, but mostly enjoying his pizza, Pepsi and movies at his home in Grimes, Iowa. Morris was preceded in death by his parents, Orval Dale and Avis Roberta (Allen) Fry and his baby brother, Scott Allen Fry. He is survived by his older brother Dean Dale and his wife Cindy of St Ann, MO and his younger sisters, Rebecca Arlene (Fry) Rupp and Adda Eileen Fry of Des Moines, IA. He is buried next to his parents at the Brethren Cemetery in Dallas Center, IA. A memorial gathering will be held at 11:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., Saturday, April 6, 2019 at the Grimes Community Center, 410 SE Main Street, Grimes, IA.
