Michael G. Walkup

Mike Walkup, 74, of Winterset, passed away, surrounded by his family, on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at Azria Health Center in Winterset

Mike was born February 3, 1951, to Harold & Annabel Walkup. He grew up in Redding and graduated from high school in 1969. On June 5, 1970, he was united in marriage to Mary Hansen and they had four children: Justin, Anthony, Jennifer and Brandon.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, and son, Justin.

He is survived by his wife, Mary; children, Anthony, Jennifer and Brandon; as well as his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Azria for the wonderful care they provided to Michael.

Mike requested no services and wanted family to have a celebration of life later and make it a fun occasion.
