Michael Jarvis

Michael C. Jarvis, 57, of Olathe, Kansas passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday, August 13, 2016. He was a native of Des Moines, attended West Point Academy, returning home to attend Iowa State University. He was employed by QuikTrip Corporation and Ford Motor Company until he retired. He spent the last 10 years being a daddy to his Cocker Spaniels; Obi, Coco, and Jesse. Michael loved watching sports especially the Kansas City Royals and the Kanas City Chiefs. He loved to go hunting with his Dad, Brother, and Uncle. Surviving Michael is his wife, Tammie of 31 years; mother, Carol; sister, Liz (Tim); brother, Tony; uncle, Lynn; aunt, Cheryl; brother and sister in-laws, Karen, Terry, and Pam; and many nieces and nephews. Michael was preceded in death by dad, Don and grandma, Ina. Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 17, 2016 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home and Crematory in Urbandale. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 18, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
