Merrily Jo Lammers

With Hearts full of gratitude and sorrow, we announce the unexpected passing of Merrily Jo Lammers, age 62, of Windsor Height, Iowa, on August 31st, 2026. Merrily was deeply loved by her family, friends, and coworkers.

She was born on July 13, 1964, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Judith and Dwight Lammers. Merrily graduated from Lincoln High School in Des Moines, Iowa, in 1982. She attended the American Institute of Business and graduated with an accounting degree.

Merrily's joyful spirit was evident in her laugh to all who knew her. Her devotion to work and her relationships with coworkers were central to her life. She loved cats, dogs, movies, and reading countless books. The love and joy she expressed towards her nieces, nephews, and great-nephews was unmistakable.

Merrily was preceded in death by her mother Judith Lammers, and is survived by her dad, Dwight Lammers; his wife, Bonnie Lammers; sister Michelle Munsch; brother Loren Lammers; sister-in-law Janice Lammers; niece Jenna Rennie and her husband, Chris Rennie; nephews Luke and Colt Lammers; nieces Loryce and Lyric Lammers; and great-nephews Jake, Liam, and Sir Alfie Rennie. Step-sister and brother: Tracy and Mike Clausi. Her best friend on earth, Trica Edwards.
