His care-free attitude followed him wherever he went. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and simply getting stuck in the mud. To say he lived life freely would be an understatement. The life he lived was on his own terms and nobody could tell him different. Because of this lifestyle, a new phrase was coined called “Memphis Time.” Memphis was always on the go. As soon as he learned to ride his bike at the age of 3, he was found going down the middle of Highway 169 by himself. Memphis wasn’t afraid to do or say anything. If there was something he wanted to do, you can bet yourself that he would do it. There was no filter for Memphis and a lot of people knew that. He was a rough and tough guy who wasn’t scared to stick up for himself, even if it meant throwing a few punches. He enjoyed wrestling and would take on anyone who challenged him. Even with his tuff guy demeanor, he loved his family and friends and would do anything for them. Left to cherish the many memories of Memphis are his parents, Alison (Jeff) Coffman and Dannel (Shelby) Ripperger; sisters, Mckayle (Taylor), Kinzey, Micaela (Brenden), Kiera, Mckenna, Rylee, and Paisley; brothers, Drue (Hannah), Dallas, and David (Missy); grandparents Kelly and Tammy Simmerman, Jerry and Lorrie Erwin, Gary Dudney, and Dennis and Retta Ripperger, great grandma, Martha (Jeske) McAuley; and close uncle, Chisum along with nephew Maverick and niece Teagan; and many other loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Memphis was preceded in death by his sister, Mercedes Alexis; and great grandparents, Charles and Wanda Landreth, and Floyd and Janet Dudney.
