Megan Ann Taylor

Megan Ann Taylor, 41, of Des Moines, passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at her home.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 15, 2025, with visitation one hour prior, beginning at 12:00 p.m., at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home, Perry Chapel, located at 1721 Park Street, Perry, Iowa. Megan Ann was born on February 20, 1984, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Tracy (Barr) Rummans and Marty Taylor. She graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School with the Class of 2002.

She loved her family and friends, especially her dear son, Phin, who was the light of her life. Megan enjoyed cooking, art, and painting; everyone close to her had at least one of her pieces. She loved music, especially the band Deftones. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Megan is survived by her son, Phin Boucher.

She was preceded in death by her beloved sisters, Shauna Taylor and Kellie LaChance; cousin, Carrie Smith; uncle, Ronald May; grandparents, Darrell and Ellen Barr, Eve and Don Spencer, Larry and Shirley Ann Burk, and Henry and Edna Taylor; and friend, Nick Smith.
