Marijose Hernandez

Marijose had always been a fun, loving, and lively person. She enjoyed spending time with her family, listening to music, watching cartoons, going for walks, and animals. She is survived by her mother Imelda, father Alejandro, and two brothers Marco and Alejandro Jr. who all loved her dearly.

Marijose was born with the genetic condition trisomy 13. It is a chromosomal condition that not many people live with for more than a year. She had to have life saving surgeries starting as a baby and throughout her life. Despite the odds and with the continuous support of her family, Marijose was strong and persistent. She passed at the age of 28. Those who met her always acknowledged her warmth and bubbly personality.

Marijose, your light illuminated this world when you were born. Up until now, you have shined brightly with all your intensity, and you will continue to be a beacon of hope for everyone who knew you. May your guardian angel surround you, always keeping you away from the pain and the difficulties. May joy and peace accompany you forever and always, and may you feel the love and protection of God.
