Margaret Ann Turner

Mrs. Margaret Ann Turner (Greenfield) was born December 5, 1928 to Robert and Gladys Greenfield in Atchison, Kansas. Margaret went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at 3:03 AM at home in Des Moines, Iowa at the age of 88 with family by her side. Margaret attended school in Omaha, Nebraska and returned to Des Moines and worked for Preferred Risk Insurance Company. Margaret married Earl S. Turner and moved to California where she worked in security for LAX Airport. Then she worked at Cigna Insurance Company, where she retired in 1989. Margaret enjoyed cooking, keeping her home clean, going to church, bowling and family. Preceded her homegoing is her husband Earl S. Turner; father and mother, Robert and Gladys Greenfield; daughter, Antoinette L. Weber, 7 sisters and 2 brothers. She is survived by her daughters, Carmen (Anthony) Hood and Leane Banks; son, Terry Gilbert and 2 brothers, 3 sisters, grandkids, great grandkids and a host of nieces and nephews. Services will be on Monday, April 17, 2017 at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home & Crematory at 11:00 AM with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Glendale Cemetery in Des Moines.
