Manuel Orizaba

Manuel Alberto Orizaba (43) passed away on May 3, 2024. A public visitation will be held on Monday, May 6, 2024, at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home and Crematory (8201 Hickman Road, Urbandale, Iowa 50322) from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. A graveside service will follow at Glendale Cemetery (4909 University Ave, Des Moines, IA 50311).

Manuel Orizaba was born to Manuel Orizaba Sr. and Maria Teresa Gutierrez on March 26, 1981, in Uruapan, Michoacán in Mexico. He was raised and educated in California graduating from Birmingham High School with the class of 2000. He would go on to attend High Desert Medical College obtaining a degree in Medical Assisting, and would later move to the state of Iowa in 2013.

In Manny’s spare time he enjoyed watching documentaries related to God, spending time with his nieces and nephews. He was a natural caregiver and a universal brother to all. He was a wonderful son and companion to his mother.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother Maria Teresa Gutierrez; siblings, Mireya Bernal & brother in law Ivan Bernal, Hector Anguiano & sister in law Amanda Hall. As well as uncles Luis Ontiveros & Jesus Gutierrez. Nephews Gisselle, Andrew, Leah & Malachi.
