Lonnie Overton, 82, of Altoona, passed away on September 3rd, 2021. Lonnie took his last breath with his wife, son and daughter at his bedside at Mercy One.
A Celebration of Lonnie’s Life will be held Tuesday, September 14th at 10:00am at Berean Assembly of God Church in Pleasant Hill. Lonnie was employed at John Deere, as a Tool and Die Maker for 32 years. He served his country in the U.S Navy for 6 years on the USS Ranger. Lonnie was a Mason at the King David Masonic Lodge of Altoona.
Lonnie is survived by his wife, Gwen; son, Danny (Tina); daughter, Kim (Jeff); sister, Margo (Ed); 5 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren. He was proceeded in death by his parents.
Masks will be required on the day of service.
