Leon Douglas Nazworthy, 74, of St. Charles, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 1, 2024.
Leon was born in Des Moines, Iowa on December 8, 1949 to Johnie and Neoma (Akers) Nazworthy. He was united in marriage to Cynthia Fincham in 1982 and they made their home in St. Charles a few years later.
Leon loved nature and being outdoors. He raised goats and enjoyed fishing and boating on his Hobie Cat. He was crafty and liked to make homemade items. He especially loved his family and time spent with them.
He is survived by his wife, Cynthia; daughter, Alamanda Nazworthy of Florida; step-son, Gregory Moughler of Waukee; brother, Norman Nazworthy ( Rosa Anna) of Hawaii; and two grandchildren, Niqoua and Charisma. He was preceded in death by his parents.
