Lawrence Lienemann, 90 of rural Adel, passed way October 24, 2017 at the VA Hospice in Des Moines. Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Monday, October 30th at Trinity Lutheran Church near Van Meter with burial following at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery near Van Meter. Family will greet friends Monday from 9:30 until 11:30 a.m. at the church. Lawrence was born July 16, 1927 to Cliff and Marie Lienemann. He was a farmer in the Adel/De Soto area all his life. He had a love for Case and Oliver tractors. Lawrence is survived by his wife, Marguerite of 57 years; sister Edna (Gene) Eaton of Sidney, IA; children, Ed (Becky) of Adel and Julie of West Des Moines; three grandchildren, Nate, Heidi and Joey, and one great grandchild, Jayda of Adel. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Marie, and nine siblings. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Trinity Lutheran Church. Online condolences may be left on this site.
