Wanda Haws

Lawanda "Wanda" Pauline Haws, 84, of Perry, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, September 17, 2025.

In accordance with her wishes, she will be cremated and no services will be held. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.caldwellparrish.com. 

Wanda was born on June 1, 1941, to Marie Helmantoler. She later married Reed Haws, and together they raised one son, Jerry.

From 1986 to 2011, Wanda and Reed owned and operated the Perry Bowl, a business they ran with pride and dedication. Wanda cherished time with her family — they were the center of her world. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her son, Jerry (Gladys) Helmantoler of Perry; granddaughters, Cassie (Rickie) Baugh, Nikki Jo Helmantoler, and Brandi (Christian) Paniagua, all of Jefferson; along with 22 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Marie Helmantoler, and her husband, Reed Haws.
