Larry Evans

Larry Phillip Evans, 68, died unexpectedly Tuesday, October 31, 2017. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 4th at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home & Crematory. Larry was born on January 14, 1949 in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Ross and Nadine (King) Evans and the cherished brother of Betty Jean Hyde. A quiet person, Larry was known for his sweet smile and his love of black licorice. He also loved going to Camp Sunny Side and participating in craft activities. In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by a sister, Kathryn Goodwin; and a brother, Dr. Ross A. Evans. He is survived by his sister, Betty Jean of Clive, IA; nephews, Langston Evans, Madison, WI, Matthew (Tosca) Goodwin, Wake Forest, NC and Malcolm (Karen) Goodwin, Oakland, CA; and nieces, Kimberly (Bal) Cobos, Madrid, Spain and Kristina (Bryan) Collier, Marlboro, NY. The family requests that any memorial contributions be directed to Mosaic 11141 Aurora Avenue, Bldg. 3, Urbandale, Iowa.
