Laney Jo Prickett

Laney Jo Prickett, the infant daughter of Zack and Tina (Buchanan) Prickett, was born and died Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa. A gathering in honor of Laney will be held Sunday, November 4 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Carlisle Recreation Center 1220 S. 5th Street in Carlisle. A prayer service will be held at the conclusion of the gathering on Sunday. Survivors include her parents Zack and Tina Prickett of Hartford; maternal grandparents, Dennis and Susan Buchanan of Hartford; paternal grandparents, Rodney and Kathy Prickett of Indianola; and a brother, Logan Buchanan of Hartford. She is also survived by five aunts and uncles; Douglas (Kelly) Buchanan of Carlisle, Michelle Buchanan of Carlisle, Amanda (Russ) King, Sarah (Brian) Blakely, and Emily Prickett all of Indianola; several great aunts and uncles, cousins and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by two uncles, Patrick and David Buchanan.
