With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Kulwinder Kaur on May 23, 2026, at the age of 67.
Born in Slampur, Punjab, India, Kulwinder Kaur lived a life rooted in faith, resilience, and unconditional love for her family. She was the beloved wife of Gurdhian Singh and a devoted mother to Amritdeep Kaur, Arshdeep Kaur, and Navpreet Singh. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Shubhkarman, Parineeda, Anastasia, Sofia, Ariana, Tejasvir, Bella, and Prabhvir, each of whom held a special place in her heart.
Anyone who knew Kulwinder Kaur knew that she was full of life. Her greatest joy was being surrounded by the people she loved. Whether it was sharing a meal, spending time with her children and grandchildren, or simply sitting together and talking, family was the center of her world.
Kulwinder Kaur faced more challenges than most. For over a decade, she endured dialysis treatments, countless surgeries, and unimaginable physical hardships. Yet through it all, she never gave up. She fought every battle with incredible strength, determination, and grace. No matter what she was facing, she would always say she was in Chardi Kala. Her unwavering will to live, her courage, and her positive spirit inspired everyone around her.
Her faith was the foundation of her life. She found peace in Naam Simran and carried Waheguru’s name in her heart through both joyful and difficult times. Her strength came not only from her determination, but also from her deep trust in God.
Those closest to her will remember her beautiful smile, her loving heart, and the way she always carried herself with pride. She loved looking her best, enjoyed good food, treasured time with family, and had a way of making people feel loved simply by being around her.
Six months after the passing of her beloved husband, Gurdhian Singh, she left this world to reunite with the love of her life. Their relationship was a true example of love, devotion, and companionship, and there is comfort in knowing they are together once again.
While our hearts ache in her absence, we are grateful for the countless memories, lessons, and love she leaves behind. Her strength, faith, and kindness will continue to guide us, and her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know and love her.
Family will receive friends for a prayer service at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 4, 2026 at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home, 8201 Hickman Road, Urbandale, IA. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.caldwellparrish.com.
