Kristen Gallien

Kristen L. Gallien was born August 6, 1968 in Kodiak, Alaska to Robert and Elizabeth Zendt. She was avid reader and dog lover. Kristen worked at QuikTrip and was a parishioner of St. Pius X Catholic Church. Kristen passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines at the age of 46. Kristen is survived by her husband, Brian; son, Casey; sister, Karyn (Keith) Kosta and brother, Matthew (Patty) Zendt. She was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., Sunday, June 21, 2015 at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home & Crematory in Urbandale with a vigil service following at 3:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 22 at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Urbandale. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society or the Urbandale Food Pantry.
