He is survived by his daughters Vicki Bishop and her husband Larry Newton and Debbie Blackburn and her husband Nick both of Jefferson; a sister, Helen Kendall of Jefferson, and a brother-in-law Jack (Helen) Nicholson of Des Moines. His grandchildren: Steve (Judy) Bishop of Carroll, Tim Bishop of Grand Junction, Lori Bishop(Mike Webb) of Herndon, Ritchie Thornburg (Ranee) of Waukee, Bret (Laura) Blackburn of Boone and Bart Blackburn of Algona and grandson-in-law Rick Jennings of Jefferson and eight great grandchildren.
