Keith J. Chandler Sr.

Keith James Chandler Sr., 90, son of Arthur Sr. Chandler and Lenna Conn was born August 18, 1934, in Des Moines, Iowa. Keith passed away on November 23, 2024.

Keith joined the Marine Corp at age 17. At age 18 he served in the Korean War.

Keith was previously married to Maxine Stiman. In this marriage he has 4 children: Keith Jr., Judith, Teresa, and Andrew. Keith retired from the Federal Government where he met his 2nd wife, Rebecca DeAngelis. 

Keith is preceded in death by his parents Arthur Sr. and Lenna (Conn) Chandler. Siblings: Art Jr., Dean, Connie, Chuck, Henry, Minnie Allen, Arlene Weaver, Thelma Middleton, and Nancy Steven, one son, Keith Jr. and one daughter, Teresa.

Keith is survived by his wife, Rebecca of 45 years, one brother, Gary (Elizabeth) Chandler, two sisters, Janice McCullough, Linda Brown, one sister-in-law, Betty Chandler, one daughter, Judith Gregerson, one son, Andrew Chandler, one grandson, Joseph (Chelsea) Gregerson, two great-grandchildren, Hailie and Zander.

The visitation will be from 9:30 A.M. to 11:00 A.M., prior to the services starting at 11:00 A.M. at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home in Adel, IA on Wednesday, December 4, 2024. A burial will follow at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Adel, IA. Luncheon will be provided.
