Karen Rae Payne, daughter of Garland Lewis Payne and Mary Ann Guilliams Payne, was born April 28, 1964 in Perry, Iowa. Karen attended Central Dallas School. She enjoyed reading, latch hook, crossword puzzles, fill ins, and watching TV. Karen grew up in Jefferson, Minburn, and then moved to Perry. She died December 24, 2022 at the Dallas County Hospital. Karen was preceded in death by her father Garland. She is survived by her daughter Emily Chiafos of Perry; mother Mary Ann Payne; three sisters Sharon Grove, Vikki Payne, and Janet Hickman; other relatives and friends.
