Judy Helen Gough, 83, of Perry, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Kings Garden, Perry Lutheran Homes, surrounded by her loving family.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by a Prayer Service at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, February 20, 2026, at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home, Perry Chapel. Memorials may be directed to the family. Online condolences may be shared at www.caldwellparrish.com.
Judy was born on May 20, 1942, in Silver City, Iowa, to Lester and Leona (Hansen) Roberts. She graduated from Silver City High School in 1960.
Rooted in a lifelong faith, Judy shared her love of the Lord by teaching Bible school. She also attended services at New Day Assembly of God in Perry. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures - cross-stitching, shopping, planting flowers (especially Red Hot Sally’s), and cooking. Judy was known for her generous heart and thoughtful gift-giving. Above all, she cherished time spent with her family and took great pride in caring for them.
She is lovingly survived by her two sons, James (Carolyn) Gough of Woodward and Joseph (Tina) Gough of Perry; 8 grandchildren, Kelly (Erik) Whiton of Perry, Kari Stewart of Woodward, Robert Hall of Des Moines, James B. Gough of Woodward, Julie Hall of Woodward, Heather (Joe) Moxley of Polk City, Jeremy (Ashley) Riggen of Panora, and Joshua (Natalie) Gough of Woodward; 18 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren; her brother, James (Dixie) Roberts of Council Bluffs; along with many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Leona Roberts, and her two brothers, Jerry and Terry Roberts.
