Josephine Goodwin

Josephine Goodwin, 92, of Princeton, IN, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2025. She was born on May 31, 1933, in Leitchfield, Kentucky, to Oliver Jacob Stapleton and Lurley Mae (Litz) Stapleton.

She is survived by her son, Roger Duane Goodwin; two grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nathan Goodwin; her parents; five sisters; and two brothers.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at Gospel Assembly Church, 7135 Meredith Dr., Urbandale, IA 50322. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 27, 2025, at the church, with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery in Des Moines.
