Thank you for visiting our Dad’s Memorial page. I want you to know it means a lot to us that you are thinking of him and I just wanted to list a few things that bring me happiness remembering them. Going fishing and fishing trips Playing catch with the frisbee Holidays Halloween and carving the pumpkins Never learning how to mow the lawn or wash a car properly Dad loved to tell stories especially ones that were at his expense. My all time fave was from a fishing trip up north in the early 80’s. It was morning time and we were in a boat with a couple others quickly skipping across the lake to our spot for walleyes. Dad was sitting towards the rear to enjoy a smoother ride. At the bow was Doc Warden who had just packed a fresh chaw of Redman after his AM cup of coffee. As Doc worked and situated his plug he let loose a stream of the tobacco juice and saliva that flew to the back of the boat and hit Dad square in the rum hole. By the time we could get the boat to a stop Dad was several shades of green, none that would remind you of a spring bloom. He of course recovered quickly to enjoy the day and thankfully never grew tired of telling that one. Please share any others you have. All the best, Tom P
