Jon Dvorak, age 78, of Bagley, Iowa passed peacefully on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at Perry Lutheran Home in Perry, Iowa.
A celebration of life will be held at 4:30PM on Sunday, September 21, 2025 at the Heartland Church of Christ located at 14417 J Ave, Perry, IA. A graveside service was held on Monday, August 18, 2025, at Dodge Center Cemetery near Bagley, Iowa. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.caldwellparrish.com.
Jon was born on August 8, 1947 in Des Moines, Iowa and was the son of Konrad and Mildred (Petty) Dvorak. He received a BA degree from University of Hawaii and was an editor, entrepreneur and hard worker. He had a passion for the arts including photography and writing.
Jon is survived by brothers: David Dvorak (Marilyn) of Caldwell, Idaho; Phillip Dvorak (Ellen) of Perry, Iowa; and Randall Dvorak (Joni) of Bagley, Iowa; sisters: Marla Bates (Kent) of Bagley, Iowa; and Barbara Miller of Anamosa, Colorado; and many nephews, nieces and cousins.
