John Rivas Jr.

John Rivas Jr., 96 peacefully passed away on Wednesday June 24, 2026. John was born March 26, 1930 in Des Moines Iowa, where he was a life long resident. He was a loving husband and father who worked hard to provide for his family. John enjoyed sports, and was a avid fan of the Iowa Hawkeyes. John was proceeded in death by his wife Janet Louise Rivas March 24, 2026. Those left to cherish his memory are his sons Dennis, David, and John Patrick Rivas, and daughter Cally Cole. There are also many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. John was always proud of his heritage and loved spending time with his family.
