John E. Snyder - Winterset

John E. Snyder, 77, of Winterset, Iowa, died Monday, December 24, 2012, at the Madison County Memorial Hospital in Winterset, Iowa. As per his request, his body was cremated with a memorial service to be conducted at a later date. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; children, Rick Snyder, Edward (Cherita) Snyder, Julie (Rich) McKinney, and Susan (Chris) Groom; seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and sisters, JoAnne (Gary) Walker and Sherri (John) Alexander. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alexis Keith and Vide Ruth (Kimpton) Snyder; and his grandson, Jeremy Snyder. Memorials may be directed to his family.
