John Carl 'J.C.' Marshall

John Carl (J.C.) Marshall of De Soto, passed away February 10, 2017. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at Calvary Baptist Church in De Soto with burial at Iowa Veterans Cemetery. Friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the church prior to the service. J.C. was born March 2, 1941 to John and Margaret (Unmack) Marshall. He served in the US Marine Corps. He is survived by his wife, Kathy; son, John A. Marshall; three daughters, Connie Rupe, Ann (Dave) Engelbrecht, and Alice (Dan) Cater; three step-children, Raymond Banks, John (Dawn) Parcel and Coleen (Dale) Carper; two grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; sister, Joyce Marshall; brother, Ron (Mary Ann); step-mother, Mona Phippen and many friends.
