Jerald Lee Harvey - Adel

Jerald Lee Harvey, 77, passed away August 3, 2012 at Stuart Community Care Center. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 7 at McCalley Funeral Home in Adel with burial at Oakland Cemetery in De Soto. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home where family will greet friends 5 to 7 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Jerry was born April 20, 1935 in Cannon Falls, MN. He graduated high school in De Soto, where he lived most of his life. He was a foreman in manufacturing at Massey Ferguson and later Emco. After retirement he enjoyed gardening and bowling. He is survived by three sons, Craig (Dawn), Lance (Sarah), and Eric; eleven grandchildren; and one great grandchild. Memorial contributions may be directed to the De Soto United Methodist Church.
