Jennifer Ray

Jennifer Marie Ray passed away on September 3, 2025, in Des Moines, Iowa, following a short battle with cancer. She was 51 years old.

Born on April 7, 1974, Jennifer spent her early years in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She graduated from LaSalle High School before relocating to Des Moines, where she became a Certified Nursing Assistant. Over the years, she held various other positions during her time in the city.

Jennifer is survived by her mother and stepfather, Carmel and Mike Cantu; her aunts Molly Molony and Chris Engel (Dennis); and her first cousins Liz Berger (Ted) and Nick Engel (Cam).

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Jennifer's friend Trish for her support during this difficult time. They also wish to thank the compassionate doctors, nurses, and staff at Mercy One Hospital and the Mission Blood + Cancer Center for their dedicated care.
